I have a question about a problem that rescently popped up

I am 28 years and my job requires me to stand 8 hours. Two days ago I notice my legs are in pain with swelling from the knees down to my ankles. They are red, itch, warm to touch and I notice I get cold chills all of sudden and then I start to burn up.

Any suggestions?

I am a diabetic, and slightly overweight. I do take something for the tingleing and numbness I get in my hands. I notice this morning that the swollen is down a lot but still have some fluid retention. Thanks for the response.

Do you have a history of diabetes?  The first thing I thought of when I read your post was the feeling one gets in the legs when the nerve linings are affected by diabetes.  Also, it might be a problem with your veins.  I'd strongly urge you to see your doctor and let him/her  address your symptoms.
When I had the symptoms you are describing, it was Neuropathy from Diabetes type 2 and heart problems surfaced soon afterwards.  Keep us informed, but do get checked out.  28 year people seldom have heart problems based on what you are describing, but untreated diabetes absolutely and almost always leads to Cardiac Heart Disease, in my opinion.  That said, I'm not a health professional so take my comments with a grain of salt.
