abnormal ekg

I would like to know someone who was born with a heart murmur and had a pda repair at age 3, has had a pretty healthy life. had a partial hysterectomy at age 26 do to endometriosis, and now at the age 30 and has a ekg that is abnormal, with left atrial enlargement and abnormal t waves, is that something that should be of an concern?

The EKG reading can be a normal variant, and not require further workup unless there are clinical symptoms or history suggest cardiac involvement and that would include abnormal T waves.

However, the T wave may show changes during myocardial ischemia (vessel blockage...symptoms coulod be chest pain, shortness of breath, etc. as well as electrolyte imbalance (not a cardiac problem). If right or left atrial enlargement were present, there would be an abnormal P wave with chest leads.

You shouldn't be concerned based on the information provided.
