opinion

...big sigh.... here I go again... This has been a 5 year appeal with the VA on the death of my husband, Paul. I have gone through a video conference with a representative from Washington DC, and was told, by the judge, that I only needed one opinion from a medical doctor, as in this opinion, with the diagnoses of PTSD...OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER....EXTREMELY HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE...and many others, that this COULD be the cause of his massive heart attack. SERVICE CONNECTED.....I am contacting the list of below in hopes I find that one opinion... As you know me, I am very dedicated to finish what Paul is entitled too. My five years has know time as his 40 years of mental and physical damage.. He was, as you know, 100% disabled through the VA.. Come on!!! I would love to get many opinions, not just one! Paul was a Military man.. and I am his rival... Any medical opinions that can be offered I will accept gratefully, FACEBOOK FRIENDS and enter.... as, the VA, hasn't heard the last from me!!!!!!!!!!!

To make it short.. Paul 100% disable from his service...the Army... He was raped by his Sergeant Major for 6 months, spent 2 tours in Viet Nam with many injuries...received a Purple Heart.. He suffered PTSD..OC...SEVERE DEPRESSION..and many other PHYSICAL ..He was under DR. care...physical and mental....all SERVICE RELATED...
When he past the he ... See Morehad a claim with the VA.. They are trying to say that once the Veteran dies, the claim dies!..NOT SO... that his condition was not service related...I have to continue for his claim, and I have VA lawyers that say don't give up!!! So, they haven't broken me yet... Right now, as the spouse of a Vet... I receive no benefits!....WRONG AGAIN... so.... a judge wants me to just find one opinion as to IF Paul's death could be caused from his condition... You know me...never say die... I have endless energy when it comes to justice...Justice when it is my love ones especially!
,

Thank you and bless you

Almost always when there is a viable lawsuit due to cause of death etc. , there are plainfiff experts and defendant experts.  Your lawyer, if competent, should have an expert that (s)he knows will advance your case, and the judge is not an expert, but will weigh the evidence of expert witnesses.  If the case is worthy, there may be a contingency of a percentage of an award. A doctor's opinion on a forum is not considered as any evidence, must be available for cross examination by defendant's attorney or judge.

I know Dr. Berlin is a palintiff's attorney and a very good one.  You can google paintiff's expert opinions, or you may google for forum's that provide  legal discussions.  All questions are welcome on this forum, and we thank you for your post, but you are getting into legal matters and a member may have an opinion but it has absolutely no weight for legal matters, and there is not adequate information as well.  Hope that helps you!

If you're looking for a doctor's opinion, there are none on this forum. You will need to post on the expert forum. Sorry about your troubles, good luck.
