high heart rate with little activity

Hi....I am 36 year old female, 5'5 and 230 pounds and having issues with increased heart rate.  My resting heart rate is 75-80 but when I get up and move around-normal activities my heart rate increases to 100-115, climbing stairs or walking short distances will put it at 130.  Had all the tests including echo and stress...all normal.  Any ideas?

Sorry to say, but ireneo is right. You are basically out of shape and your heart is trying to work too hard.

I would say carrying the extra weight is probably a strain on your heart. Imagine at any weight if someone carried around a 50 lb sack of potatoes all day long. It would be tiring. It would put an extra burden on the heart, lungs and muscles. That's essentially what you're feeling.
