Thank you for the information , im checking into that asap and will check it all out soon.. it sounds about right on the mark !
I think most dr's dont really know enough about chemicals or medications or the side efffects or interactions they have. as the ones iv had go right to the book ! to read and that book tells nothing at all. my dr told me, he gives dose by waight of a person and size and age ? I have come to find out ,that its not the case anymore..
and that is why alot of people are ove dosed with medications and have adverse side effects and reactions that about 50% of the time ,send them to the ER. for help !
thank you again ! Ed
Thank you so much for your kind help !
Im haveing so much pain tonight with these two idoit drugs bystolic and verapamil.
cant stop my muscular system from going into spasums ! back sides and belly..
I had to take a vicodin to hopefully stop it . all I do is burp giant burps ! and then it stops the pains for seconds and restarts again.. been threw this meny times before from beta blockers ! I got online and read the info on the fillers and printed copys out.
very interesting and indeed a big problem with me and others ! im now reading that dr's shouldnt mix a beta blocker with a cal channel blocker ,well here I am !! and its no wonder iv been so sick since, I was put on this crap combo of drugs! my cardio doctor threw his arms up and wont deal with my problems ! and bottom line, he started it all with this miss match of drugs! sooo iv got no choice but go backwords and stay with the tride and true b/s verapamil at normal dose and go at it again ..
as I can't take much more of this ! if that wont work . im going off the meds totaly myself again and will do just natural b.p lowering stuff .. nothing more I can do .
God knows I cant stand the pain anymore !!
thank you for your kind help .. your friend Ed.
There are regular statements in the Thyroid forum here on MedHelp on the topic but it's all related to genaric medication where Genarics are not regulated and change in dosage over reported dosage (50mg could very well be 5mg but reported as 50) and Filters are changed and/or eliminated without prior notice. Relating this to the heart forum would make the "assumption" that Carvedilol could be changed in such a way that it makes the pills completely useless or make you underdose or overdose but Coreg would always be stable.
So, Yes it is a well documented situation.
I just googled "reactions to fillers in meds" and several sites came up. So it's a documented fact. The first site that came up is on About. com under their food allergy section. I know we can't put the addresses here but take a look there and see what you think. I enjoy About and their amazing selection of informational sections. So, this problem isn't your imagination at all.
