Beta Blockers and Salt Substitute

Anybody in here on beta blockers have any experience with a salt substitute? I'm wondering if you can or can not use something like Lo Salt that has potassium chloride in it along with beta blockers, and if so how much is recommended. I'm looking to substitute lo salt for some other high in potassium foods in order to cut down on my sugar content.

I am a long term BB user, but not for high blood pressure.

The only heart problem I can associate with salt is elevated BP.

I also have never seen, been told, or heard of any interactions between BB and salt or substitutes other than the elevated BP concern.

My take on this is give it a try and watch you blood pressure and watch for any new symptoms.  In the absence of any problems, I'd say go for it.  Reducing sugar is always good, especially if trying to lose weight.

Thanks for the reply Jerry. Already lost 4lbs the first 10 days alone with the lack of sugar, and I'm in no way or form starving myself in fact I'm eating more calories and still losing weight. It's pretty incredible the effects of not eating sugar has had so far.
