Chest Pain?

I have had this sharp pain right in the middle of my sternum since yesterday.  Does anyone think this is cardiac?  I am 27/f non smoker.  Pulse feels like normal rhythm... what could this be?

try taking something like Gaviscon and see if that helps
If it does, then it is your stomach.  My mom had that and even though it was a sharp pain it was related to reflux.  Gaviscon works pretty good.  Another indication is that you are waking up with it.

The pain is off and on throughout the day and even woke me up a few times last night.  I have had this before but it worries me. Anyone???

I have my heart checked so many times...I dont think they would even do anything to check.  I have had at least 15 EKGs, and echo, chest CT, corotid doppler studies, tons of blood work, a 24 hr monitor and a 30 day monitor.  all revealed nothing except PACs and sinus tachy/sinus arrythmia

p.s can i say it can be anxiety i have them now from stress over having to take a heart test tomorrow , when ever am under stress i get gerd which can cause the pain and the anxiety, so if your anxiety/stress over it you could be making the pain worse but just have checked so you have a good feeling on it .

you should be checked that way you know for sure , it could be many things other than heart but better to be safe, sorry not much help.
