HOW TO TELL IF ITS REALLY YOUR HEART

wow, i have had a dull acke for 3-4 days now , in my chest , but my back has rods running down my spine and it hurts some to, have had back problems most my life which makes my chest hurt sometimes, so how can you tell if its a true heart  or just a back problem.

i also have the burning in chest and burping., but when chest ackes all day for day or two it gets scarey, does any one elsa have this

The difficulty is that once you know these characteristics, it's really easy, if you have any tendency towards anxiety, to feel the discomfort where it 'should' be, even if it wasn't there before.

thanks for answer, i do not have arm/sweating/sob with it . i do have burping /heartburn sometimes . have had my heart checked out many times / had echo /stress test few years back all was good. my shoulder blades hurt to move my arms sometimes. i have had this a lot with my back and it goes away but always scared is it the heart this time.

I believe a pain in the chest area that is not accompanied by other heart-related symptoms is not a heart problem.  If you have symptoms such as pain in the arms, shortness of breath, sweating.... then you need to consider getting attention for your heart.  That's how I would react, but do admit I never have any chest pain and very little back pain, lucky me. So: "What do I know?"
