excercise induced irregular rhythm

I have had numerous tests: stress test, blood work, echo, stress eho, monitors, etc. All have came back normal with the exception of a few pvcs and pacs. Doctor says heart structually normal and Im good to go. My problem recently has been that when I play basketball I have been having these sensations of a very rapid pulse and maybe flutter. This only happens when I have run up and down the court a few times and really getting my pulse very high. Could this be a-fib or could it be caused from being out of shape. Doc told to run wind sprints so i dont think he is to concerned. HA! This website has been very comforting for me. Some posts I read about pvcs and pacs sounds like i was actually writing them. Any feedback would be great.God Bless and have good days with NO PVCS!

I am an older male,51 and went in for a stress test to see how the heart was. I have had heart skips for the past 20, or so years. My cardiologist just recommended a stress test because I didnt have any other factors for heart problems. During the stress test my EKG went crazy and I felt slightly out of breath. No pains though. I think I freaked out the techs doing the procedure. After the test my EKG returned to normal. I had a LBBB--left bundle branch block. Basically the left side of the hearts nerves were misfiring as I exercised and got the heart rate up. Jan. 24th I had an ablation done where they found the area of the heart that was malfunctioning, ablated the nerves, and corrected the problem.  Aside for the nerves being out of wack the piping(arteries) were in great shape.
It may be possible that you are having problems with the nerves regulating the heart beat.  in Good Luck!!
