flying query

can i fly following surgery this year for a aneurysim and will travel insurance be very high?

I agree, check with your surgeon.

I assume your aneurysum is heart related, the term is a general one little bit that I know - not much that is.

Flying in commercial aircraft is in my opinion of minimal physical stress, emotional is another matter.  So, if you are comfortable flying it is my guess that hauling luggage around is more a question regarding your surgery than is flying.

Thank you for your reply. I ask for my sister who was concerned about flying -her first flight- since the operation this year. She is determined to enjoy her holiday so I think she will be fine as you say-it would be more a case of lugging heavy luggage around that would maybe be a health problem than actual flying. Thanks again.

I would call the surgeon's office and ask. They usually don't want you to fly for a short time after surgery.
