Can anybody help this lady?

This came up on the colon cancer forum but it really is a liver disease question.  For me this hits a little too close to home, and besides I do not know the answer.  Anybody?

Thanks to all who took the trouble to go to the colon cancer forum to help.  You are such a great bunch of folks - I'd say more but my eyes keep tearing up.

From my limited knowledge, I don't know if even medical professionals would have the answer.  I've learned from my husband's situation that if liver cancer is present and metastasizes, it's pretty much end game, but how long or how short is unpredicatable.  I'll try to offer something there.  Bless your heart.~eureka

I’ll tiptoe over there and see if I can offer some thoughts, JD.

I don't have an answer. She at least may have made her burden of tragedy a tiny bit lighter by voicing it to the forum.

In all my years of watching loved ones die of cancer, the attending doctors themselves have difficulty providing answers. Currently a friend's husband with lung cancer who was given three months to live a year ago is still here, not well, but appreciating the time he has left. She plays a big role in his morale. I don't think I could step up to the plate the way she does.
