Can someone help me in finding a Doctor?

Hello everyone,

I'm thinking these days in going to see a doctor to find a possibility of taking the treatment. I have HCV genotype one. About three years ago I took the treatment for a year and everything went well, but unfortunately after the treatment I relapsed.
I'm not from the U.S and came here for school only, so I'm not familiar with the hospital system here and how to find a good doctor. I also don't know who should I go to. I'm guessing Gastroenterologist, is that correct?
Are all the gastroenterologist treats hepatitis? In other wards, can I go to any physician classified as Gastroenterologist for hepatitis? I have a medical insurance and a specific plan, but I can't decide which doctor and hospital should I go to and whether these doctors treat hepatitis or not!

I would really appreciate your help guys  ^_^

Thank you,

It's always preferable to see a hepatologist instead of a GI. GI's are not as well trained in liver disease.
Phone and see if you need a referral by your regular doctor or not.
Good luck.

Thanks HectorSF for all the information :)

I see also Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center ranked as one of the top hospitals in Milwaukee by U.S. News.

Does anyone know if I need to have a family doctor first, or can I just go directly to the Gastroenterologist?
