Just trying to find some answers

I have Hep c and type 2 diabetes, and seem to just keep losing weight, I was 200 lbs and now weigh 156. My skin is very dry, and my eyes hurt. I found out I had Hep c about a year ago, and it remains untreated.(can`t afford it).
My weight lose is not because of lack of appetite. I eat all day long, But can only eat certain things do to Diabetes.
I am always tired, and nothing seems to excite me. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can put on some weight? Thanks

Uncontrolled type II diabetes often results in weight loss; are you monitoring your blood sugar with finger stick testing? What was your last A1c result? What has your doctor said about the weight loss?

Have you considered entering a clinical trial for HCV treatment? There are some pretty effective drugs now in studies that you might be able to access through trial. I take it you don’t have health insurance?

Welcome to the discussion group, by the way,

Bill

I have HEPC and breast cancer was just diagnosed. I am a HEPC trainer also.  My first thought is that it is your diabetes causing your weight loss.  You really should see your physician or call in and have the nurse call you back so you can fill her in on what is going on.  Good luck!
