Lived in Sparta, NC for a while years ago.  Spent the summer working in a coffee shop on the parkway.  The drive was spectacular every morning.  Almost killed a family of deers one morning, just barely nicked the doe and the fawns made it across the road unscathed.  I love the Blue Ridge Parkway -  I love NC.  Lived there for many years.
Have fun on your Hog -  you deserve it.

Thanks everyone. You all have no idea how much help you've been. There were times when I felt as if I couldn't continue anymore but just reading the encouraging words helped more than you all will ever know.

Trinity4- No leaves turning yet here in Virginia but I can't wait to jump on my Harley and head down to the Blue Ridge mountains for a nice Fall ride.

The main reason I'm considering ending the Riba is I've been on neupogen since January and procrit for the last 10 weeks. I've also had 3 blood infusions b/c of severly low platelets and neutrophils. My Dr advised not to use them this week and he wants to do another RNA in 2 weeks. Since the riba maily helps the Interferon stay in the body, I don't think it's that big an issue to discontinue it. The Riba also makes me feel tired for a few hours after taking it.

I'm so freakin happy right now I could burst.

Iv`e got  8 shots left to do, so tired of filling that dosebox with riba can understand your dance mood.
I`ve been through this before though and its the interferon thats makes you feel bad the most. I´m gonna take my riba a week after no big deal .

Just thinking if I should relapse don´t wanna think what if I`ve been taking them last pills.

Anyway thanks for sharing and good luck with the SVR.

Thought your profile said your were from VT.  It's VA -  henceforth, the leaves comment.  But I'm sure there getting quite pretty in VA too.  Just think, no more riba.  Things will start to appear as they are, not as you think they are.  I can't wait until I can spell correctly again.

Happy dancers, add me to the list.  Great news - doesn't it feel soooooo good to think that next week you will not take a shot!!!

FYI my doc originally said do a full week of riba after the last shot, but when I saw her 3 days after taking shot 48 she said don't bother with it.  So I stopped that day.  Here's to your SVR.
