Riba rash and why?

The good news is my 4 week labs show UND but they cheesed out and the test was only <615. My NP said they will do the more sensitive test <5 at 12 weeks. At 6 weeks I am getting some extra shots of Neupogen (RBC) and procrit. My WBC is 1.5 RBC 3.48, Hemo 31.9, Neutrophils 33.8 Abs .5, Lymphocytes 57.6 H Abs .9 blah blah blah.
Getting winded on a flight of stairs, can only run downhill being pulled by my dogs(Not kidding about that) but still working and doing Pilates.
What is really buggin me out is this ****** Riba rash! OK any of you seasoned vets, can you chime in how long it lasts? Throughout the whole TX or does it come and go? I've got the gold bond but told my NP today I am ready for a Dermatologist. I have it on my chest and back. It is very sun sensitive like a chemical burn. Anything that touches it including clothing or a seat belt irritates it. EEEEUUUUOOOo. Does anyone know what about Riba causes a rash? My kid is on swim team. It's summer and I am apparently allergic to the sun! I know I need some cheese with that whine.
Sorry about that buzz kill, I need to be happy that I am UND at week 4! Yahoo!

Boo, thank you for the encouraging words. I am going to see my family Doc and then a dermatologist to see if I can get some prescription meds. If it's only for a month or so that would be great because it is starting to bug me more and more. It looks funky too! This is summer I can't wear a turtle neck perhaps a burka?

If the rash is due to the sun then why is it forming on all places that are NOT exposed to sun on my body (buttocks, armpit , thighs).  places that are normall exposed to the sun on me (face hands, lower arms, legs) are pretty much rash free.

I'd really like answers to those questions as well because I am having almost identical problems and experiences with the rash as you.  What does the rash mean?  All the posts that I have read (many!) seem to correlate a relation between low RBC levels and the Rash but I would like some verification to this to make sure I am not seeing things that are not there.

Congratulations on RVR......GREAT NEWS!  I too, learned about the sun sensitivity the hard way!  I got a Riba rash in both of my armpits (gross, I know) so I saw my GP and he gave me some prescription topical antibiotic (kind of like extra-strength neosporin).  I used that for about two weeks and it finally went away.

I don't know if it comes and goes throughout Tx, but mine has been gone now.  I got it from about week 5-8 and now from weeks 8-12 it's been fine (knock on wood).

Best of Luck!
