SX: Bad cramps/diarrhea/sweating/feeling faint

Ok I guess I have a sx.  Now that my Gerd is under complete control with a Nexium in the AM and a zantac in the PM another gastro issue.   3 times in the last 4 days I have had horrible stomach cramps/diarrhea/terrible sweating (I am soaked)/feel as if I am going to faint.  Over the years I have had this but not for about 3 years now and to have it 3 times in 4 days is not fun.  I realize my blood pressure is dropping.  I have to lay down immediately (sometimes this is on the bathroom floor) and I am soaked thru.  After about 5 minutes I am fine.  I am a bit drained, but feel ok.  I have gone to work.  I eat well, I am drinking a DanActive every day as well.  Not sure if anyone else has had this as a sx or could it be just something going around?  I am seeing the Dr in the am and will certainly go over this with him just wanted to check in with you all in the forum.

Thanks Lynne.  I am on an IBS site now that is sounding about right.  I can't wait to go to the Dr tomorrow.  Right now I feel great but about an hour ago all wasn't the best.  It just seems what has happened to me as far as any sx has been an increase of symptoms from minor gastro issues I had before tx.  I had Gerd but hardly at all every 6 mos to a year a problem, with tx I had daily problems (under control now with medication).  Now this, what my Mom and I (she has them as well) call our "episodes".  Once every couple of years this would happen and now 3 in 4 days.  All in all I have had no other sx I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing previously.  This could be normal I haven't a clue.  Again thanks Lynne!

Hello there:  Sorry you are not feeling well.  I had a terrible flu while I was txing. turned into pneumonia, antibiotics knocked it out.  You are right it could be something else other than "normal" sx.

Mention it to your Dr.

Good Luck/Feel Better soon - Lynne
