Hi.    Starting week 5.     Same treatment and geno type as you.      So far so good but just a little nausea lately.      Some ginger ale and resting makes it go away.     Everyone is different so you may not have any side affects.     Mild if any.      Virus was undetectable after 2 weeks.       Hope you have smooth sailing.      Will keep all posted as treatment continues.     The drug so far is a walk in the park.      Hope you get good results.        Kim

Hey congrats on getting to start the new tx tomorrow! You must be excited and hopefully not to nervous since it's you first time tx'ing.  There's no better time than to tx now especially being a geno tyoe 2 and having the better tx options available. Also, since you've been chronic for so many years, It's always better to tx sooner than later if the timing is right for the individual's situation, etc..
I haven't heard what the expected sx may be for this particular combo since it's so new to most of us, but I'm sure someone else will see your question and come along with some advise maybe :) I only know that sx will be minimal in comparison to the older tx meds with inf together with RIBA., and you may not even have any symptoms or sx to really complain about, every one is different with these medications.

Good luck and keep us posted during your tx :)
