Should I tell my partner?

I have cleared the Hep C virus for over a year now. Should I tell my boyfriend that I had Hep C, had treatment and have been cleared?

Thank you all who took the time to answer my question. This was really weighing on my heart. I have decided not to mention it.

Hey there I agree with Can-do and ABN.
I would not mention it, I think Can-do chicken pox analogy was the best I have ever heard.
Sometimes there are things that you would share with a long time friend, but not a short time on.  There are things you would share with the man you are sharing the rest of your life with.
I wish I had not had to share the information with my new doctor but since I have a scarred liver I had no choice.
A year is not a long time in the span of a life time.
I would like to say I am very happy that you are HCV free.  That is the best news of all.  Gosh, you are doing great.

You don't have Hepatitis C.  You are a responsible person who treated Hepatitis C and are now cured.   I commend you and congratulate you.   You now have a life free of Hepatitis C and deserve to live that life.   I see no reason you should tell this boyfriend of about a year about you past medical issues.  It's up to you if you tell or not tell.  My opinion is ....I wouldn't offer information that's not medically needed to disclose.  Have a great life Hepatitis C Free.
