Idi you see the new thread?  One of our poster started the new treatment YEATERDAY!

I would expect, with what has been goingon w/VA medical treatment, they will be jumping all over this to get it on their Formulary, if it's not already there.

E-mail the new head of Va and suggest that:  a) this is a GREAT way to treat so many Vets and hepc c is so common, and b) it would be a GREAT way to show, after all the medical mess they have had, that they are being responsive.

It surely couldn't hurt their media image, either!  : -)

I'd wait a long long time, until after the inevitable class action suit against Roche for INF and Ribavirin.   None of the meds to date have been well assessed for long term sides / injuries.

I'd give it a couple months. Keep bugging them to be treated. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

The VA? Hmm... Were they able to give you any projections?
It is worth the wait if you are stage 1 or 2 or have no extrahepatic manifestations.
