Tinnitus

I've had ringing in my ears ever since my last tx in april of 2003, it's gotten louder and louder. I try not to pay attention to it and usually sleep ok, just a bit of hearing lose. I'll be going on treatment in a couple of months with PI. Has anyone with tinnitus previous to tx who is now on PI experienced worst ringing then before?

Hi, thanks for your input. No Vertigo, no pain, just a loud ringing. I'm thinking it'll get enhanced with meds.

Hi there.  Not sure.  I have been struggling with ear pain and Vertigo, and am going to the doc tomorrow to get my ears checked.  He's a neurologist/ENT.  There's another name for it but I can't pronounce it.  I'd say get yourself to an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist before treatment, to see what can be done.  I had pre-existing vertigo but have NEVER had it as bad as I have on tx.  But.....it's different for everybody.  Tx, for me, magnified some pre-existing stuff.  Best to you!  Hopefully, others will chime in too.  Cyber ears unite!  LOL :)
