hi i have been having alot of health issues and have been looking for answers, i was hoping
i can get some advice on this, my liver enzymes are slightly raised wel the ALT only in the 90's for many years,
i had an ultra sound showing inflamed and fatty liver, the gallbladder and pancreas were fine. so i been on abit of a diet and exercise, the reason why i got it checked was im feeling very run down, stomach pains, lethargic, brain fogged, weak, shaky, i have been tested for hep viriuses and its negative also autoantibody was neg.
along with this my pancreas enzyme amylase was at 146, again slightly raised, my styomach pains appeared after i had a tooth extraction and was on metronidazole and another antibiotic, because i had a gum infection i was to take this for nearly 4 week, after this my pains began. its been 10 months now, i suffer from gastritis and diahrea too i cannot eat fatty foods as it hurts and i get pains in my stomach, which give me back pains too.
i did go hospital they said it seems like i have chronic pancreatitis as its in the 100's if was in the 800's it normally is acute ;( and sent me home to see my doctor, i have been refered to a gastroentologist but i have to wait nearly 4 weeks.
my question is:
can my liver issue be related to the pancreas vice versa? is so what can be posibly causing it?
what can i do in the mean time as i am waiting?
my diet for a long time has been high sugars and fats, also i was a social drinker a year ago now and a used to smoke too,i do have high cholestrol so i am dietig and exercising for that.
i know any amount of alcohol can cause fatty liver too, i have had a few occasions of binge drinking, and this will cause pancreas issus and liver, im hoping for the best, just wanting to know if thers anything positive anyone can advice me on as im feeling ever soo negative about everything, almost feel my lifes over.
thanks
