extreme vertigo

i am in week 6 of 24 week treatment. last nite experienced vertigo with ringing ears, dizziness, projectile vomiting, bowel evacuation, cold sweats loss of motor skills and loss of consciousness within seconds of onset of dizziness. liver specialist claims to have no knowledge of this ever occurring from treatment. i am asking if anyone else has had such an experience or has has heard of such a reaction before i consider the suggestion that i have suddenly since the onset of treatment developed meniers when migraines and ringing ears and cold sweats began in week one.

I have had some problems passing out in the past from minor medical treatments and such.  Not in about 12 years, and thankfully it never kept me from going to the Dr and getting shots, etc.  I did learn that if you feel faint in the least you should lie on the floor with your knees up.  In this position it is actually impossible to pass out (at least that's what I've heard).  And I did it many times and it always saved me from blacking out and getting hurt.

I've passed out on several occasions and it has been accompanied with many of the things you described. At least in my case, it has nothing to do wtih hep C or tx.

I was sent to a cardiologist who diagnosed it as a vasovagal episode. It has to do with blood pressure or heart-rate dropping.

I have had some moments on tx when I got that very unwell feeling, but not to the extent where I felt extremely nauseous and clammy and like I was going to pass out.

A suggestion: if you start to feel *at all* that way again, immediately lie down.
