stage 3 liver damage
Im on week 27 of peg/copeg. My last bloodwork showed hcv was undetectable [good news] but my biopsy showed that i have stage 3 liver damage. If i continue with svr, does anybody know if my liver will heal itself? im seeing my gastro next week and I will ask him then,but i thought if anybody had any personal experience they could share Id sure like to hear about it.
It can but there is no guarantee.

My heptologist said that once the virus is completely gone the liver can certainly start to heal itself....and my husband has cirrhosis.
