its offical

Its gone, Hep C has left the body. Cirrhotic relapser, add boceprevir, a doctor not afraid to treat and a trial nurse who stood back and let us go after it. Result, 6 month PCR = SVR.

Thanks everyone.

Oh, boy, you've got this girl dancing today and how the h-ell did I miss this party.

Well, I'm here now and I have something to show you - check it out 'cause I'm putting on my all-in-one six-inch STILETO THONGS (not really, I'm just wearing runners):

http://www.flirtcatalog.com/p-67798-lace-trim-heart-6-inch-stiletto-thong.aspx?mr:trackingCode=56E46336-18D5-DE11-974B-0019B9C043EB&mr:referralID=NA

And they're even available in size twelve, in case the guys get ideas...

Congratulations, Cando. You're a forum darling and as good-natured as they come,

You're the best and you and the wife got the best news ever.

Yup, tears here for the rough road you had to travel and that d-amn stage four. Let's hope for regression big time.

Now go buy her something from the flirt catalogue.

Love and hugs,
Susan

sheesh, seems it was just yesterday I was welcoming you to the relapser's bench and now
you're off and gone already - some people just got no staying power...

and about that SVR outfit...

red stilettos and a thong are OK, I guess, but keep your hat on.

"CanCanMan asked that we wear thongs in addition to the red shoes when he got his SVR"

So most gals around here post pichers of their red shoes. Do what dya say? Do we see  the thongs (plural) too?

Nygirl: Red shoes and thongs are out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmm. I get the shoes, and I understand the first thong."

CanCanMan asked that we wear thongs in addition to the red shoes when he got his SVR so.....a girl can only keep her promise after all!  ;)

I'm glad to see that it is official.  It's great to see the PI's (w/ SOC, of course) cure people that SOC alone might not have.

best,

That didn't post right.  Let me say that again....

"Generally, the likeliness of a viral breakthrough is correlated with the response to pegylated interferon alfa/ribavirin combination therapy. The majority of patients with a virologic null-response (less than 1 log decline at week 4 or less than 2 log decline at week 12) to pegylated interferon alfa/ribavirin combination therapy who were retreated with triple therapy showed a viral breakthrough. "

"In partial nonresponders (greater than 2 log decline at week 12 but HCV-RNA positive at week 24) only several viral breakthroughs were observed during triple therapy and in patients with a prior relapse after standard combination therapy no viral breakthrough was observed during re-treatment with triple therapy"

Relapsers do well, but null responders do not...
