has anyone here caught herpes 2 an didn't have sex

Wondering ways that herpes 2 could be caught without having sex and if so what are the possible ways?    Has anyone here had that experience?

After you think you have been infected.  How long should you wait to take a blood test to ensure you get the most correct results?  If it is only 1-2 weeks or 10 days is that too soon for results to show as positive?   Any suggestions on best timing to take a blood test after a possible transmission.

The issue is that I haven't had sex so trying to find out the source.  I am waiting on my test so am not sure how low/high counts will be which I guess might help determine length of exposure.  If it was recent the only thing that makes sense is that I came into contact with vaginal fluid at a strip club.   I have always had issues with dry skin and frequently have rashes on my stomach and genital area which leaves areas a bit red, scuffed, scratched etc.  Basically more like and open raw area of skin.  If a girl was touching her privates and then mine and also grinding around on my with her privates could a herpes transfer occur in that method?

If you have herpes 2, chances are you caught it from having sex with an infected person.

Sorry pal, genital herpes is called an STD for a reason. It's transmitted via sexual contact, and no other way.
