Herpes?

I had sex with this girl I was seeing, but I did not know her that well.

We used a condom, but it broke while we were having sex.

About 2 days later, my genital areas started itching, and I saw some bump on my penis, where it was itchy.

It was a little red, and just seemed unusual, I started poking at it, to see if puss or something would come out.

It became a blister and it seemed like it was going to pop.

I also had sore muscles in the 48 hour time frame, a long with a bit of fever symptoms.  They did go away after about the 3rd day.

Any ideas?

I started getting a little sketched out, and went to the bathroom a few times to look at it and touch it more.

I washed my hands with water and this hand cleaner stuff, but it was not soap.

I accidentally touched lips randomly, about 10 mins after this event happened, once or twice.  My lips were closed, but the finger I picked at the soar touched the bottom of my lip in the corner.

The next morning, I had irritations in the side of my mouth a few little white bumps, when I looked at it in the mirror with a light.  I am a little sketched out.  I did not obviously touch the inside of my mouth, so it does not make sense to pass anything on.  Regardless of what the thing is on my penis.  It may be nothing.

But I did touch the corner of my mouth.  I am just a little sketched because of these white bumps.  Its been aggravating and annoying.  Any thoughts?

unless you get a + herpes test result you need advice for, no real reason to continue posting here.  We can not really help you any further. If you have symptoms you are concerned about, be seen and get a proper work up done.

You need to be seen by your provider. No way for us to tell what it is. Were you seen after your last symptoms?

I just wanted to get your opinion on a red sore/bump that just randomly appeared on my arm.

It was like a bump, almost like a zit or pimple, but it was red and it had a little rash around it.

It also had like an indent hole type of thing in the middle.

Its been about 4 or 5 days, the bump has gone down in size, but there is still a bit of a bump with a small indent hole in the middle and red rash around it.

I wanted to get your opinion...  I did touch it, and I was paranoid after of touching other things on my body, like my eyes, I did scratch the corner of my eye one time after.

Anyways, and my eye 2 days later got a sore and looked like a blister.

But, I am not sure what this bump on my arm would be.  It seems more like something else, because its just 1 bump and its just a red rash now with a small bump an ident in the middle.  Any thoughts?

True!  Thanks for your advice.

It has just been pretty painful and annoying in my mouth.

I mean, I dont have really have any cold sores on my lips.

I did have a small red bump on my penis, and i picked at it, and it became a sore.

I washed my hands after with minimum just water and this hand cleaner stuff, as I looked at it and touched it, when it first showed up.

I may have touched my lip or around my mouth after.  But there I definitely did not touch inside my mouth or anything.

Hopefully this irritations and pain will go away.  I am going to get my throat looked at from an ENT.  But I was just wondering if you had any suggestions or thoughts?  That is why I was asking.  I have never had something like this occur in my life.

I am hoping it is nothing serious, and it will heal and these irritations will go away.

It is definitely getting better.  But I mean, its been 10 days since I saw that girl.

Hopefully it is not herpes or anything serious.

Not much more this forum can do. Stop worrying so much and just be seen for peace of mind. I can tell you're researching quite a bit. Just because something looks like herpes doesn't mean it actually is herpes. As grace and mistakeguy have told you hpv orally is not a concern here. Don't think you're one of the rare cases, that kind of thinking leads to too much stress in life. No more what it's and just be seen.

I know!  I have been in a lot of pain and discomfort.

When I look at my mouth, I see red bumps that kind of shine.

They look like herpes.  And my symptoms before were fever, muscle aches, etc.

And I had exchanged saliva with a girl, I did not know.  With an open cut/sore in my mouth.

Ever since then, it has been hell.   I am thinking it is Herpes, but I cannot be positive.

I will have to get it looked at from the ENT as soon as I can get an appointment.

once again, it's not likely this is hpv. really, not everything is a std I assure you :)

I am not arguing about how rare Oral HPV is.

Its just that, I find it weird, how I have like a huge inflamed lump in my throat and it looks like it is cut or a gash as well.  Specially several days after I spent a night with this girl, I did not know.  I did not perform oral like I stated earlier in the post, but we made out and exchanged saliva.  And I did still have a cut/soar in my mouth, from the procedure I had last week.

I was thinking it could of been the alcohol that inflamed and enlarged it.

I am trying to get into an ENT who I saw last week, but he is on holidays.

I am also suppose to be going away to the East Coast for Grad school this Saturday for a month, so it is very difficult situation, because its been so uncomfortable and irritating.  The soar is like hidden on the side of the wall of my mouth throat, and its kind insets in with a cut and enlarged skin bump.   I am just hoping it gets better.

Did you read the values of how many out of all those people had of HPV orally?  Less than 5 percent... If you want to argue with us about what this is why don't you be seen and come back with what your doctor has to say.

Apparently, you can get HPV from French Kissing.

Read this article below.  Very uncommon, but can happen, from what this Dr states.

I am going to get it checked out, but I am a little freaked out right now.

It looked like it is a cut and it is split, and the are lumps and stuff in the region.

odds are this isn't anything contagious at all.

see your provider for a proper exam if you are concerned.

Do you think it would be herpes?

I am just trying to figure out what these lesions/bumps would be.

I am pretty sure that herpes is only from skin to skin contact.

Her tung may have touched the inside of my mouth on the side.

But other then that, I did not perform any oral sex on her.

no you won't get hpv from kissing. no reason at all to think this is hpv orally.

You dont think the bumps in my mouth are HPV?

I heard you can get HPV from kissing.  I had an open sore in my mouth and we were kissing, not a lot, but enough, and she stuck her tung in my mouth a few times.

I did not seem to have any problems like this or lumps on the side before this situation.

Okay here is the situation with the throat.

I had some throat procedure done and there was some open soar/cut from it.

I let it heal for approximately 3 days.   Then I went on the date with this girl, I did not know very well.   I did not have an oral sex or anything.   But we did kiss, and she stuck her tung in my mouth.  Ever since that time, I can see bumps in the back side wall of my throat, it looks like a huge lump.  I also see a pimple type of thing straight in the back of the throat.

It is definitely a huge discomfort.  The ENT I saw is on holidays, and I am suppose to be going away to do some summer courses for an MBA.

Any ideas?  I am not sure if you can get HPV from kissing.  Obviously, maybe the sore was still open, so its easier to transmit, but I am not sure.

I am sketching out a little bit, because it is really bothering me, and I cant really see anyone because of the time frame, I am leaving on Saturday to go away for 3 weeks.

Hopefully it is nothing serious, and it will go away.

sounds like you need to follow up on this all further with a different provider since this one wasn't able to diagnose you.

No, she did not give any other diagnosis.

She just said that it does not seem like herpes or HPV,  and showed me pictures of what herpes and HPV look like.

She stated, if it was herpes it would be a lot more sore and painful, and it would be multiple bumps.  Its only 1 bump/sore.

She looked at my throat and saw the thing, and said if it does not go in a way, to go see a family doctor.  I agree, I mean I had my mouth closed when I touched my finger/hand to my bottom lip/mouth.  I also washed my hands with minimum water and this hand cleaner

you won't transmit herpes from your genitals to your mouth that easily. also symptoms would not show up less than a day later either even if you had.

did the provider suggest any diagnosis like a fungal infection or anything like that?

I got it looked at from a doctor at a walk in clinic.

She said that it did not look like anything serious.  She said usually it would be more multiple bumps or sores.

She also said that it would be a lot more painful, if it was herpes.

Its only 1 bump.  And you could not really notice it that much.

It was just a little bit more raised and it was a bit red.  So I picked at it a bit.

Its definitely a bit of a sore.  But it is very small.

I am going to get it looked at it today.

Thanks, for the feed back.  Hopefully it is not herpes.

I dont think the thing in my mouth would be from me touching my mouth with my hands.  Because I did not touch the inside of my mouth, it was more just the bottom of my lip.

You need to be seen.  Sadly you have waited to long for a lesion culture.  In this case the only thing you can do is have your partner tested to find out their status if they haven't had a partner within the last 12 weeks aside from you then you will know their status.  But given the symptoms it does sound like something to look into.

If the symptoms return be seen within 48hrs for a lesion culture with typing.  You should also test using a type specific igg test within 12 weeks if your partner tests positive.

Sounds like herpes. I've done a lot of research regarding the virus. If I were you I'd go to the doctor and have them do some blood work and get some real results. I have was diagnosed with HSV-2 two months ago and have never had an outbreak before but when I went for my check yearly check up I asked them to test for everything and my blood work testes positive! One of two things first, don't stress until you know for sure and secondly remember this is NOT a deadly illness 1out of every 5 people in the world have it and most have no idea!
