Do you know if she has herpes for sure?  Were you ever tested?

Your chances of infection depend on whether or not you have it, so you need to find out.

I don't know if i have it, i doubt that i do i have NEVER gotten any of the symptoms or close to it, and the information im getting is that it's not herpes but it's simaliar to it, but that aside let's just say she does have it, what are chances of me getting it by making out with her? remember it's almost gone, well i don't know if it's completly gone but she has no symptoms anymore, but she does have a scarred lip, but i don't know if that's from her pulling out the skin or what? so, what are the chances of me getting it?

If she still has symptoms, its a good chance you will get it IF you aren't already infected.

I know we went over this before, but only about 20-40% of the gazillions of people infected with hsv1 will ever get a cold sore.  The ONLY way to know if you have it is to test.

And I have no idea what is "not herpes but similiar to it" is.  Don't you think, for both your sakes, you all should find out exactly what she has?

And I know you are teenagers, and have hormones all over the place, but you CAN control this.
