I have symptoms of a virus that I can't seem to get rid of. It comes and goes every few days. I've had it for a week or two. A friend has had the same symptoms for over a month. It started with sneezing, then a kind of ache all over feel, mild fever (99.8), running nose, sore throat, cough. The whole gamut. I don't know anyone who has it who has gotten over it yet. My friends are  calling it the velcro virus. Is this going around?

I've never slept so much in my life. The coughing really saps your energy. Many people I know have it now too. I hope your husband heals quickly. Not a nice way to start the year, but I hope the rest of it is a happy one for you both. Thanks again.

Glad to hear you are getting better. Keep resting as much as you can tolerate and antioxidants. Anything to boost your immune system. My husband has it now too! I hope I don't get it. I hear there are lots more now with the same.

Hi and I have heard of several people with a prolonged virus up to a month. My doctor was one of them. So, hang in there get rest and it should go away. If your symptoms get worse see a doctor.
