Dear Doctor, I have been paranoid for a long time,.Last week I went to the clinic for a rabies vaccination. it was the last shot(the fifth) of my treatment course. The thing that bothers me is that during the injection, the nurse did not wear the respirator and she coughed. the needle was very close to her mouth, and I was very worried that it would have been polluted by her saliva. do the nurse belong to high risk group of rabies? If very unlucky that she is a potencial patient in her latent period, do I have a risk of getting rabies? And since I have already taken the rabies vaccine, do you think the antibody would help to clear the virus? Any cases that the could rabies virus be spreaded from people? Thnaks very much!!!!!!!! since there is no way for a rabies test, do you think antibody test would help to prove that I did not get rabies??
