inhaling poop?

about an hour ago, i put on a jacket that was sitting in my trunk for 2 weeks and i noticed a strange odor so i started to sniff the wrist/arm part for about 5 seconds and it was a strange funky smell.  not sure how to describe, and then i remembered that 2 weeks ago, my friend was using it to cover her legs because she was cold and i distinctively remember her stepping on the bottom of the jacket with the wrists/arm part with her shoes, which then made me think that possibly there's animal poop or something so i got scared thinking that i had inhaled some of that through my nose.  is it possible that whatever was on her shoes could have lasted this long?  and if so should i be concerned?

It is a good question. Even if you had dog poop on your jacket you cannot get sick from inhalation of  old dried feces. Eating it is the mode of transmission for parasites and E.coli etc. Or getting it in your eye etc. So, don't worry.

edit: i meant is it possible that something from her shoes that she stepped on could have transferred (like bacteria) onto my jacket?
