Protein Supplements - Weight Training

Are there any indications for developing kidney stones by consuming Protein (whey?) supplements / powders for shakes for someone interested in weight training who has a history oxalate stones?

How are you? Formation of stones may indeed be influenced by diet and fluid intake.  Eating large amounts of protein may increase the risk of kidney stone formation. Your daily protein needs can usually be met with 2-3 servings a day and taking protein supplements may add to this. Take care and do keep us posted.
