Worried about Elevated Liver Enzymes and Climbing A1C

I have type2 Diabetes.  After initial diagnosis I was able to control this very well, and I was started on Metformin and Victoza - I brought my A1C down to a 7 from a 10.    In the last 6 months my blood sugar numbers have gone up suddenly to A1C 8.8 despite no change to medication etc,  and over the last 6 weeks I have had unusual lower leg swelling.   Also,  now my "liver enzymes & function are at 86."  Of course the nurse didn't specify which, but they sent me for an upper quadrant ultrasound.  The results are not in yet.

My question is:   Victoza has a lot of scary warnings,  especially about Pancreatic Cancer.   I've worried myself literally -sick- for the last two days until I'm on the verge of a complete breakdown.  Is this actually something I should be concerned about?
