Not sure this will help but as a child my Mom would give me flat coke to settle my stomach.  It is worth a try

Take care...chat back :)

Good idea Cean.  A simple remedy for me when I had nausea from pregnancy was hot water.  I don't know how or why but my Aunt told me about it.  It did help, and no side effects :)

It depends somewhat on what is causing your nausea and how severe it is. The promethazine Dee mentions is effective but can also be quite sedating for some people. I couldn't stay awake if my life depended on it when I took that drug. Ginger is very safe and can be very helpful for mild nausea, but didn't even touch my severe nausea. The miracle drug for me was ondansetron, commonly given to chemotherapy patients. It's usually very effective for severe nausea but its not for everyone, as in a very small percentage of patients it simply gives them a severe headache without relieving the nausea. It is still my best suggestion, as it does work very well for most and it is safe for most patients with cirrhosis.

Hi I have heard that people take ginger, either fresh or a ginger tea to help with nausea.

Have you asked your doctor what would be safe to take?  When I treated my HCV I was very nauseated and was given a prescription for promthezine.

I hope you can find some relief.
