glutathione

apparantly I am missing the gene that is responsible for glutathione production (or something like that.)
If this is true, it could explain ALOT of the symptoms I've been having over the past  4years.

But what does this mean now, am I screwed. I've been reading how critical this thing is and if I am not making it then heck..

I keep getting mild hemolysis on my blood tests RBC was 4.79 [4.5-5.9].  I get seizures/PLMD in my sleep, intellectual disability.  I would suddenly thrash/shake for a few seconds. eschogenic liver on ultrasound
Can taking NAC help and at what dose does it not cause lung and heart hypertension, narrowing of airways?  what other medications/supplements can help?  glutathione shots?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Hope you are doing well. Glutathione is an antioxidant which prevents damage to cellular components by reactive oxygen species. The deficiency of glutathione deficiency can be mild, moderate or severe. People with mild deficiency may have hemolytic anemia. Moderate deficiency may cause hemolytic anemia and elevated acidity in the blood and tissues. Severe deficiency can cause seizures; disorders of movements, and speech, intellectual disability; and a loss of coordination. It is suggested to discuss your concerns with your treating doctor. I sincerely hope it helps.
Best wishes and regards!
