I am a 29 year old female. I've been having horrible headaches, nausea, vomiting spells, fatigue, weakness, lightheadedness, bloating, constipation, and lack of appetite for several months. I had an MRI done on my liver because of possible hemangiomas which showed up during ultrasound. The MRI showed 5 lesions. The largest in segment 7 is 9mm. exact words from report say this 'this is of increased signal intensity on T2-weighted images, although is not as bright as CSF. This is of decreased signal intensity on T1-weighted imaging and does not demonstrate any discernible fat on the inphase and out of phase images. The postcontrast images demonstrate a tiny focus of eccentric enhancement within the anterior aspect of the lesion. The lesion does not appear to completely fill in with contrast material. This lesion does not have the typical findings of a hemangioma.'....so my question then is, if not a hemangioma, what else could it be? Of the 5 lesions, only 2 were characterized as hemangioma, 1 was too small to characterize, 1 was either a hemangioma or venous varix (not sure what that is either), and the other I have described above...I'm very concerned for obvious reasons, I still feel ill and I'm being told by doctors that I have harmless benign hemangiomas yet the biggest has yet to be identified. Please help
