liver function tests

My alt is 88, my ast 40,  I drink a minimum of 8 beers daily, but my direct billiruben is only .01 and total billiruben is only .07.  Does this mean my liver function tests are okay.  Thank you

Your ALT is above the normal range but not dramatically so.  Cutting out drinking can only help.  Try that and have a retest in couple of months and see where you are.
