Hi,
After writing the above post, I got some more info from the net and I thought the same would be of interest to you.
It appears, there are typhoid bacteria which are drug resistant and you may be having one of them. They might have become resistant within you due to not taking the full course, or you might have acquired them from others. So your doctor possibly has to find out to which drugs the bacteria you are carrying is resistant and to which they are sensitive and accordingly change your drug and dosage for you. If your doctor lacks the facilities for the same, you may go to any medical college attached good hospital with your history of treatment and recurrence and I am sure, they will be able to treat you properly. In any case you need to take your situation seriously and get the bacteria out of you as soon as possible and take extreme care for nonrecurrence in future.
Here is the link for you regarding multidrug resistant typhoid bacteria:

Hi,
Recurrence of typhoid so many times is really strange.Have you not taken the full course of the medicine the first time you had this disease? You should also take rest for about three months following the treatment and take extreme care in your food and water, to prevent recurrence.Drink only boiled water take only home cooked food. What does your doctor say?, you have to follow his advice thoroughly with out any lapses. It appears that in some people (carriers), the bacteria continues to be present even after the treatment, may be yours is a similar case? If in that case if allopathy system does not have a remedy, you could try traditional systems like Ayurveda for a possible solution.
Here is a writeup from CDC on this disease:

Take care.
