good migriane preventive that DONT cause weight gain or vision problems?

Iv tried propranol. Worked pretty good actually for my daily migrianes but causes such rapid weight gain I couldn't handle it. I know what ppl may think. Well u may not b in that much pain then to come off it it it helped. I have major body issues. And I used to work out hard and diet a lot and had a nice in shape body. Then got in two car accidents, neck problems now chronic daily migrianes. Iv had migrianes since 12 anyways. But the neck problems just added on to them! I'm 23 yrs old and literally bedridden almost everyday now. Propranolol made me gain 10-12 pounds a WEEK! So no! I don't want that! I can't handle that extra stress. I tried topamax I'm on right now. Swear it's making me go blind! My right eye is blurry. And pressure. I'm going to ask my dr how to come off it. I know it caused vision loss iff not stopped. What else can I try?! Please! I can't love my life like this! Nothing with side effects of vision or weight gain please.

you can try pretty much every blood pressure drug. Verapamil is common. SSRI in small doses can also help.
Tricyclic antidepressants might also help.
Many people get helped by small doses of valium or similar.

Botox injections might also work, no side effects almost.

Small doses of indomethacin can be added as well for a time, it works as an anti inflammatory agent (supposedly).

But you must find a better doctor. There are a lot of drugs to try, you can not just accept feeling like this.
