Am I having early symtom of some kind of sick?

Hi, I've been having headache since not sure how long, but it gets severe(for me) 2 years ago when I was 16. It started on right side of my head and eventually the left(till now). I when to Hospital for 6 months(once each month according to the appointment) and been given from pain killer, then Naproxen(currently intaking 275mg). When it strikes, my vision starts to blur, sensitive to light, left side of my body become numb, tears and sneeze involuntarily(start at the left part only and afterward the right side too sometimes), become sensitive to sound and physical interaction. Iwould rather conclude all my sensory will be sensitive and will worsen the pain. Recently, my chest would hurt sometime(not during headache but just few times so it's rarely occur I assume), and my head twisted to right side as if my neck pull it involuntarily(frequently). Till now the duration of the pain last for minimum 15mins and the max for severe pain is about 2Hours(not really accurate as I couldn't calculate the time but manage to look at my watch sometimes). To be honest, even the Naproxen ain't helping much I would say. The doctors had gave me a letter just in case I want to go for diagnosis but I put it on hold as I heard CT Scan and others will effect my health as I'm just 18. Does anyone have idea whats wrong with me and what should I do..?
Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the Migraines & Headaches Community.

You need to see a specialist right away! I recommend a neurologist. That is not typical migraine stuff. You may be having migraines but, not ONLY migraines.

The MRI is better than the ct scan and it uses magnetic waves instead of x-rays. It is not considered harmful. It also produces better images.

I don't think naproxen is the best drug for you. Best would be if you could see a neurologist who can check you.

It might be migraine you are suffering from but it is nice to have the doctor rule out the more dangerous causes.

There are much better medicines than naproxen. Propranolol, amitriptyline and topiramate are drugs that are considered effective against migraine. There are more.

Take care and I hope you will find something that helps you!
