I've had daily sometimes severe headaches, not relieved by standard Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Tramadol, even Toradol injection. They start when I wake up, lessen when I stand or sit upright, made worse by activity, even just leaning my head foreword. If I lay down flat with ice pack on my forehead I get significant relief until I get up. After almost 5 weeks of daily headaches I finally relented and saw my doctor who ordered CT scan. I received an email from my dr with a note from radiology stating "normal findings, incidental Colliod cyst". Per doctor's email - " not the cause of headache". The doctor did however order MRI due to previous history of brain MRI 3 years ago which showed bone marrow changes (reconversion). My question is how can finding this cyst be "incidental" when the CT was clearly done for the headaches? And how can it be considered not the cause of my headaches when the main symptom of these cyst is headache? My other symptoms are nausea, vomiting, double vision, loss of coordination during the intense headaches. Thank you for any information that can be provided.
