Hi,
How are you? Was there a previous trauma to the head? Blood taste in the mouth can be due to your diet, gum diseases as well as underlying medical conditions such as nose or sinus infection or bleeding. If it persists, check with your doctor for proper evaluation. Try to determine the possible triggers for your headache. Rest, ice pack and pain medications may help provide relief. Your vertigo should also be evaluated to rule out ear issues as well. Take care and do keep us posted.
The headaches are gone and the taste of blood in the mouth comes and goes. I did make an appointment with my doc for Monday. And to answer the previous question, no head trauma. I have my teeth clean ever 6 months to every year and I floss constantly, so I know my teeth and gums are fine. Vertigo is something I am learning to live with, because is an everyday thing.
Hi,
How was your appointment with your doctor? It is good to know that there was no history of head trauma. The headaches can be caused by primary headaches such as tension, migraine or cluster headaches. While vertigo is caused by dysfunction of the vestibular system in the inner ear. The most common causes are benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and vestibular migraine. Try to avoid alcoholic beverages also since this can exacerbate the condition. Take care and do keep us posted with your consultation with your doctor.
