Hello,
I have been suffering for a constant headache for about five years. I suffered in my youth with what was diagnosed as labyrinthitis - where I would become dizzy and vomit and would be physically unable to move, due to vertigo, for around two days - which occured every six months or so. However around five years ago I suffered a similar attack, but since then I have had a dull pain in my head constantly, which at it worst makes me feel dizzy and nauseous. This feels in some ways like a headache, but isn't as severe as a migraine. It addition to this my balance has been affected and I suffer from tinnitus constantly in my left ear and occasionally in my right. My symptoms come and go but seem especially pronounced after I have had a cold or virus, which I think probably was the thing to damage my middle ear like this in the first place. I have been to many specialists, espeically ENT, about this; had CT and MRI scans which came back negative; blood tests etc; been cleared of ME; tried all the different medicines that were given to me; tried changing my diet; tried sacro-cranial theropy and acupuncture. Nothing works. I no longer see any doctors as I was told that they could do nothing else for me. I do not take any medicine. I was wondering if any one else has experienced these sort of symptoms and whether anything that they were prescribed, or that they tried had any affect. The tinnitus isn't so much of a problem for me as I have learned to deal with it but after five years of constant headaches which are extremely dibilitating I am willing to try anything. Many thanks.
