Experience of Headache, Nausea and Inability to use Fingers.

Recently, I woke up with a slight headache, and felt very weak and slightly nauseous. I figured it was because I had dinner very early the last day, and just went about my business, which was more challenging than normal because standing and walking just increased the effect of the nausea. After about 2 hours, I began to drive to the store. ~30 minutes into the drive, the nausea and headache got worse, and my hands felt like they were numb and shaking, even though they were not shaking at all. I had to pull over and sit down on the side of the road for a few minutes because I felt like I was going to vomit. While I was getting out of the car my hands felt like they were shaking violently and my fingers would not move unless I pushed them into the position I needed them to be. I eventually got a bag out of the trunk of the car, and got back in to drive back home, and about 15 minutes on the way back, I had to vomit into the bag. Once I got home, the symptoms were mostly gone, but I still felt very lightheaded, so I laid down in bed for about an hour. Normally, I would dismiss this as a migraine, because I occasionally have them, but the whole hand paralysis part really freaked me out. Anyone know what this could mean?

Hi and welcome to the Migraines & Headaches Community.

I know migraines can cause tingling in your extremities but, not paralysis. You need to see your doctor ASAP.
