Hi,

Since epilepsy, brain tumors and migraines have been ruled out. It is important to rule out stress and anxiety. Have you been feeling excessive anxiety of late?
A mild tranquilizer like Alprazolam, breathing exercises and meditation will help you.

I have been given a whole range of tablets over the past 2 years but none have been found to work and i have pretty much been left to get on with it. i have had many tests but they all came up clear i have been checked for brain tumours and eplilepsy and we have gone through all the triggers the doctor could think of but none of them seemed to set me off. nobody knows why or how any of this is happening but not only am i lashing out at my mum in the mornings im also appearently saying voilent things about other people, she told me she tried to wake me up this morning and i told her 2 give me two minutes to finish ripping someones nails off!! im not a voilent person if i was then i could understand but im not.

Hi,

Hope you are feeling better.
Nausea and vomiting usually accompany migraine headaches. However the unusual thing is that you don’t remember any of this once when you wake up. This requires further evaluation and I would suggest you to get a sleep study done.
Are you taking your medications for migraines?
Medications like Topamax have shown very good activity as prophylactic agents for migraine. Also it is important to identify a trigger for your migraines. Please maintain a headache diary to do this. Magnesium supplements also have bee known to help in preventing migraines. Avoid caffeine, MSG, artificial sweeteners and processed meats as these are known migraine triggers.
