Hi,
What other symptoms are present? Was there history of head trauma? It is good that sinus and eye check-up yielded unremarkable findings. Since headaches started after stopping birth control, this could be associated with hormone changes. This usually resolve when hormones go back to normal levels. Pain management and alternative therapies like acupuncture may help. Additional diagnostic tests such as blood tests may help rule out anemia as well. Take care and do keep us posted with the CT scan result.
CT result came back showing I had a bad sinus infection. The doctors put me on a zpack and it really helped. that was about a month ago. I also have had issues with acid reflux for the last few months but have had that checked out with a EKG and that showed nothing wrong with my heart. The dizziness has started to come back so im wondering if they were wrong when they check my eyes and I may really need glasses. also is it normal to have a heartrate of 100 most of the time the doctor said it was fine some people just have fast metabolisms ect. ive been taking Prilosec for my acid reflux but I still experience some slight chest pain every so often so its scary. any suggestions on what else could be causing the dizziness or what I can do to improve the issues im having with my acid reflux? thanks
Hi,
Thanks for the updates. It is good that the sinus infection had been treated with antibiotic already. Dizziness could be sue to a lot of issues such as eye and ear conditions like error of refraction or vertigo, as well as drop in blood pressure, dehydration, infection as well as other conditions like anemia, heart problems, bleeding or shock. While EKG was normal, further evaluation may need to be done especially if the symptoms persist. Monitoring of the increased heart rate may need to be done also. Avoiding trigger as well as medical management usually help with GERD symptoms,.Otherwise, referral to a gastroenterologist may be done. Hope this helps. Take care always!
