Hi,
Thanks for the update. How are you? How are the acupuncture and stretch exercises? If the migraine medications prescribed did not work, inform your doctor about this also. Other muscle relaxants and anti-inflammatory medications may also help. Take care always.
I still have a bad headache, but I am taking painkillers (Acetaminophen & Methocarbamol) and using heatpads. I went to the doctor and physio. The migraine medication didn't seem to make difference. The physiotherapist helped & also gave me acupuncture. He said the muscles at the base of my neck are in bad shape. He told me to do stretches (that I already do) more often. I have more appointments next week. Hopefully I'll be back to normal soon.
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? Improper posture can be a trigger for headaches in some cases. If the pain killers are not helping, stronger pain prescription may be indicated. You may need further evaluation or imaging studies of your neck to determine if there was major damage done. Have this checked by your doctor for direct clinical examination. Take care and do keep us posted.
