Migraines with full body tremors

Sometime when I get a migraine I end up with full body tremors. It usually starts in my hands and arms, but gradually takes over my entire body. It hurts, makes me tired and I feel like I can feel my neurons moving around. I start having speech problems and it's like there is a delay between my brain and my body functions. It scares me and I can always tell when they are coming on. Does anyone have any idea what's going on with me?

i think its a complex migraine... and there are many different kinds of migraines...
you feel completely drained after right? like you just want to pass right out...
you should deff go see a neurologist. you should probably be on medication.

Just read this post.  I've developed Migraines in the last year, i'm in my early 20's.  In the last two weeks I have developed the exact same symptoms you have described above.  i've been to the emergency room and was admitted for a series of test (CAT SCAN, MRI, X-ray and EEG) I even had an episode of tremors during the EEG.  A neurologist was paged STAT because the technician thought I was seizing.  According the the Neurologist, the brain waves showed no indication of seizure.  All my test were normal. I was even seen by a Psychologist for a mental disorder for a panic attack or mental breakdown. Well...the psychologist came in and after a few minutes, the psychologist stated it was a waste of his time to be there and he should have never been sent for!!!  I was released and told to see an eye doctor for the light sensitivity.  I went for an eye exam yesterday and was told everything was normal and not to waste my time there. He even suggested I see a Cardiologist for a possible heart arrhythmia that may be causing lack of oxygen to the brain that trigger the horrible headaches and tremors.  I feel like Dorothy on the Golden Girls episode when she is sick and has seen countless specialist and is told it could be psychological....  Today I am going to see an immunologist and hoping for some answers.  I had four episodes of tremors this past Sunday, each stronger than the next, so I am desperately looking for answers. Please let me know if you or anyone has had any new developments since your last post.
I, too, get the tremors, especially in my hands and upper body. They are especially prevalent during the 9+ level Migraine attacks. I was diagnosed with Chronic Intractable Migraine with Status Migranosis. This has been my diagnosis for about three years now - a progression from Chronic Migraine with Aura for the past 23 years after episodic Migraine with Aura for about seven years, Abdominal Migraine for about five years prior to that and basic Migraine for about two years. All of this started when I was four years old. I’ve tried everything Eastern and Western Medicine, Naturopathy, Homeopathy and Chiropractics have to offer without luck. I’m not a candidate for Botox thanks to contraindications, and my neurologist refuses to go through the extra steps to get me approved for Aimogen.  I hope as I hit menopause, I start to experience some relief!!
