Hi,
Thanks for the update. It is great to hear you are feeling better now! With vitamin D deficiency, supplements taken by mouth or given by injection usually results in a complete recovery. Eating healthy, exercising regularly ( preferably outdoors) and drinking plenty of fluids are really highly recommended. Take care always and best regards.
I'm sorry that I haven't posted in a while. I am feeling a lot better! My doctor ran some blood tests to check my iron and vitamin d levels. My iron came back fine but my vitamin d level was very low... The doctor prescibed me 50,000 units of vitamin d to take once of week. It has made me feel so great and I am very alert during classes now. Thank you for helping me go to the doctor. Thus might not be all that's wrong but at least we have one clue.
Hi,
How are you? Was there imaging modalities done such as Ct scan or MRI of your head? You may need to have further evaluation done by a neurologist to determine the underlying cause. Increased heartbeat or tachycardia may be attributed to a variety of causes such as heart problems, hypertension, thyroid conditions, rapidly firing triggers, sleep apnea and even electrolyte imbalance. Check with your doctor for further evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted. Warm regards.
Dear Mustang, certainly gluten intolerance or allergies to other things could cause some of your symptoms. What's most important is to seek good medical care. Sometimes doctors will tend to dismiss what they don't understand. In that case, you need a new doctor or a good clinic or hospital to diagnose your condition or conditions. You have too much going on to rely on forums for answers. Persist on getting a diagnosis.

When you said this started in second grade, I was thinking that is when hormones start surfacing to a lesser extent. That's when many kids start needing glasses. So, chances are that something is not functioning too well. Maybe you are not absorbing certain vitamins and minerals and it's throwing your hormones out of balance - the list is endless as to where the problem could be coming from. The first thing I would like you to try is a gluten free diet. You can look that one up on the internet. Many people get relief with this diet. Gluten intolerance can block the absorption of several nutrients and these nutrients, when deficient, can cause many problems, hormonal imbalances, etc.
You'll need to take gluten free vitamins and make sure if you take any medications that they are also gluten free. Gluten effects the absorption of magnesium, calcium, some b-vitamins, etc., etc. That is why I suggest this diet. Leave me a message if you have any questions. I hope this helps.
