What symptoms can a severe sinus infection with migraine almost on bridge of nose call?

I was diagnosed with basilar ( ? ) and tension type migraines when I was a teenager. I am now a 38 year old woman and I take 50 mg of topamax & 25 mg of Amitriptyline every night for prevention. Recently I was diagnosed with a severe sinus infection and it has set of tremendous migraines right between my eyes! I am slurring my words and having difficulty with speech, not to mention a little comprehension problem sometimes. My boss thinks i'm on drugs, but that is just not the case and it's very hard to get the words out to explain to him.. Could someone please explain this to me or offer assistance> Thank you very much! Kristi

i have felt unwell for about a year, it all started with re occurring ear infections... i get swimmy headaches. i do have a sinus cyst and when i used a steroid nasal spray i experinced severe dizzy spells, i stopped taking it straight away... i have head aches and ear aches almost evey other day, i have gained weight and wonder why sinus cysts cause this.... i have an mri scan booked in a few days.... i just generally feel unwell most of the time

Thanks for posting.
There is no specific term for the symptoms that your are describing. Sinusitis especially the one which is induced by allergic rhinitis is known to trigger migraines.
I would suggest you to get your sinusitis treated first. A course of antibiotics is usually required. Steam inhalation, oral decongestants also help.
I would also suggest you to take couple days off work and rest.
