i have'nt done any diagnostic tests and yes i feel pain in the eye

How are you? What diagnostic tests were done already? This could be due to primary headaches such as cluster or migraine headaches. Cluster headache presents with severe headache (most commonly strikes after falling asleep), may occur in one side of the head, eye pain and may occur daily for months. If it persists and pain medications do not help, have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Complete neurological examination and your medical history may help. Imaging studies such as Ct scan or MRI may also help with the diagnosis. Take care and regards.
